You will be: · working in a paperless office · provided with an iPad Pro and Pencil in addition to your workstation · given remote server access to take files and drawings to site Then we are looking for you We are looking for an enthusiastic graduate Building Surveyor to become an integral part of our team working out of our Liverpool office and as you will see from our website (rowley-szilagy.com) , our work is varied and commercially focused across the UK covering all building types within numerous sectors. We are committed to training and developing you to learn new skills, mentor you through your APC (Assessment of Professional Competence) and help you progress in your career giving you hands-on experience of: Commercial inspections and reports. Specific defects reports. Schedules of Dilapidations. Schedules of Condition. Party Wall Surveyor duties. Design and detailing of refurbishment, repairs/maintenance, fit-out and new build projects (commercial and healthcare). Schedules of work, competitive tendering and Contract Administrator duties. Planning, Listed Building Consent and Building Regulations applications. Principal Designer role CDM 2015. Fire Risk Assessments and Disability Accessibility Audits. You will also gain valuable understanding of professional ethics as you work under our core values of Professionalism , Excellence and Integrity . The following technical requirements will be advantageous: · Conversant in all Microsoft Office packages, Word, Excel, Outlook and OneNote. · NBS specification, preliminaries and preambles. · AutoCad LT. · Full UK Driving License and car.
