We want someone who is Hobbyist, someone that self teaches and builds their understanding in their chosen subject Thrives in a hands on environment Able to work well as part of a team as well as on their own Can give examples of their strengths and knowledge Self-starter Able to follow instructions and complete tasks Job Details: Vacancy Description: The primary role of the apprentice will be to assist in providing a single point of contact service to all employees using IT services to meet communication and departmental needs. Duties and responsibilities: Provide first line technical support - remotely & in person Desktop Administration / Support Tasks Maintain an excellent level of customer service Provide PC laptop Build/configuration, Installation and Asset Management Provide Windows Server Administration Desired skills: Ability to use own initiative to solve complex problems and find solutions Excellent communication skills, both face to face and via telephone Able to work under pressure and prioritise own workloads Passionate to learn and gain new skills Experience of working in a customer focused or IT environment is desirable Desired qualification requirements: Minimum 5 GCSE's at grade C & above or equivalent. Relevant IT qualification is desirable Working week: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, General office hours are from 9am until 6:00pm, with 1 hour for lunch. Salary: £11,611 per annum Future: 92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.
