Innovative, technology led communications company is looking for a Senior .Net Engineer Role And Responsibilities Senior .Net Engineer To develop and implement web delivered solutions to meet the business requirements for both internal and external clients. To provide appropriate documentation and information for developed solutions. To provide appropriate system and user client support. To observe standards within the department and contribute to their continuous improvement. Senior .Net Engineer Full and detailed understanding of C# language and .NET framework. Full and detailed understanding of Web Development technologies on the .NET platform. Experience of MVC and Entity Framework Full and detailed understanding of Web UI technologies such as HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript and jQuery. Full and detailed understanding of SQL Server and database development and design. Ability and willingness to take on varied work including BAU (business as usual) and new development, and to advise the company on new technologies and techniques. Ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear language to non-technical people. Ability to clearly document work and processes and to instruct other people in performing complex tasks. Experience of working in a position of authority or mentoring junior colleagues. Skills Required C#, MVC, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, Entity Framework. System analysis and design. Excellent communication skills to fully understand, question and report on work requests. Flexible and reliable in approach to work. Good time management with particular reference to business priorities and deadlines. Accuracy and attention to detail. Team player with disposition to disseminate information amongst team members and elsewhere in the organisation, as appropriate. Resilient, with the ability to work under pressure and remain focussed on business goals. Ability and willingness to work both as part of a team and as an individual as required. A practical appreciation of Microsoft Windows Operating systems (server and workstation) Desirable Skills WebAPI CSS, Bootstrap IIS, SQL Server, T-SQL Source Control (GIT / TFS / Visual Studio Team Services) Azure Agile, Scrum Test Driven Development jQuery, Angular Slack Microsoft Office products, both usage and integration with developed solutions Expected Entry Qualifications/Experience Senior .Net Engineer Expected Entry Qualifications Minimum of “A” level passes in Mathematics and IT or related subjects; a HND or Degree is desirable. Alternatively, relevant professional qualifications/experience. Experience Relevant application programming experience within a .NET / Web development environment.
