We have a fantastic job opportunity for a company that is a global leader within the Oil & Gas industry and they are now recruiting for an experience Field Service Engineer who has a history of working with Pumps and Rotating Agitators.


Reporting to the Service Team Leader, your existing knowledge within electrical and mechanical servicing of industrial products including pumps and rotating agitators will be critical to your success in this role. As Field Service Specialist you will liaise with internal stakeholders of our Manchester site and manage your daily, weekly and monthly schedule in an efficient manner in order to maintain strong customer relations with the support we offer.

Key to this role will be your ability to drive continual improvement processes, enhancing efficiency and performance within our industrial markets and delivering technically competent installations, commissioning, servicing and maintenance support to our customers. Developing our business goes hand in hand with developing our people`s skills, with the support of the Service Team Leader, you will be open to career progression and continued self-development in order to reach personal and business goals.


- Liaise with the companies project teams and management, Client and Vendors relating to their allocated installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance activities
- Prepare, review and approve work packs required for the above related activities
- Co-ordinate on-site sub contract labour as required for above activities
- Undertake installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up operations of process plant in line with the companies procedures, including but not limited to:
- P&ID walk downs
- Mechanical completion checks
- Factory acceptance tests
- Function/loop checks
- Instrument checks
- Leak testing/pressure testing
- Train operators and client personnel in use of process plant and equipment in line with the businesses operation and maintenance manuals
- Maintain contact with plant operational personnel to build long-term relationship/database of customer feedback
- Under management direction, provide after sales services including inspections, spares, advice/recommendations, liaising with engineering departments as necessary.
- Ensure personal compliance with all HSE legislation and HSE Company policy
- Be fully familiar and fully conversant with department and company policies, procedures and processes, ensuring all work and actions undertaken are in full compliance at all times
- Provide HSEQ leadership ensuring personal compliance with legislation and Company policies

- Daily travel to customer sites when required
- Carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager
