Job Title: Multiskilled EngineerTeam: TAD
Reports to: TAD Team Leader
Responsible for: No employees
Job Purpose: Required to carry out electrical and mechanical assembly of Pharmaceutical Containment equipment in the factory and when required at our clients site’s.

Duties and key responsibilities

1. Multiskilled Engineer
➢ Be primarily responsible for the correct electrical and mechanical assembly, Pre delivery testing, Factory Acceptance Testing, Installation and Validation of the companies range of equipment
➢ Carry out the electrical and mechanical fit out process, including, but not limited to, accepting bought out parts, inspection, sub assembly, wire equipment, drawing checks, quality checks, packing parts, labeling, compiling inventories, and dispatching.
➢ Take ownership of pre delivery documentation packs whilst equipment is within the departments ownership
➢ Take ownership of assigned work and carry out activities in accordance to the specifications and procedures detailed within the pre delivery document pack strictly following in house QA guidelines
➢ Carry out site installations as a Team leader or Team member as and when required
➢ Take ownership of site documentation as and when required
➢ Carry out site validations
➢ Undertake other work disciplines as and when required
➢ Attend client sites for installations of equipment

2. General
➢ Follow company procedures relevant to the job
➢ Be aware at all times of cGMP
➢ Maintain a high level of housekeeping
➢ Work within the parameters of the company production schedule
➢ Promote teamwork and share knowledge company wide
➢ Be aware of the commercial responsibilities of the department
➢ Report accurately all re-work and design error

Attributes Essential Desirable
Experience • Proven track record of working as part of a team within a Factory and Site environment • Experienced in manufacturing pharmaceutical equipment, and working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing Environment
Qualifications • C&G 236 parts 1&2 Electrical Installation
• C&G 17th edition • HVAC testing, Containment testing, filter Integrity Testing and Mechanical fitting qualification

Skills and abilities • Fault Finding
• Computer literate
• Organisational and prioritisation skills to work within prescribed timescales
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Instrumentation Calibration
• PLC Programming
• cGMP Awareness
Knowledge • Assembly, Testing and Validation of Containment (or similar) equipment
• ATEX Regulations
• Basic Pneumatics
