Job Title Derivatives Analyst

Location Glasgow

At Barclays, a fantastic opportunity for a Derivatives Analyst has arisen in the Global Market Operations - Derivative and FX Confirmations Team.

Global Markets Operations is the engine responsible for ensuring the execution and servicing of all products and services. Our core objective is to deliver service excellence by executing our processes in the safest and most efficient way, leveraging automation and 'Lean' approaches to achieve this. Some of the core processes that we deliver include Post Trade Services, FX Operations, Collateral & Liquidity operations.

Derivative Post Trade Services is a cross-asset class function responsible for ensuring that all Interest Rate, Credit, Equity, Commodity and Foreign Exchange Derivatives are controlled and settled in an efficient and cost effective manner.

Your Role

Support the overall DFX Operations function of trade documentation.

Drafting derivative trades confirmations on T0.

Affirmation and Trade execution of confirmations by T1.

Working with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy of documents.

Supporting Risk and Control and Regulatory business requirements

Essential Skills

Ability to work well under pressure.

Ability to identify, escalate and report risks and issues.

Ability to understand and analyse complex problems and provide effective tactical and strategic solutions.

Desirable Skills

Bachelors degree or equivalent

Financial Services experience
