Cash Management Officer - NHS Shared Business Services

Salary: £19,000 + 5% Flexible benefits package

Location: Tingley

Contract: 12 month FTC

Role overview

An exciting opportunity to join a friendly and fast paced team within SBS. This team is responsible for handling client Cash Management delivery and support, highlighting and providing solutions when needed.

Full training will be provided, therefore this role would best suit those looking to start their career within the accountancy sector.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide clients with updated cash flows for each allocated bank account - allowing clients to make powerful decisions around their cash outgoings.

  • Approve and authorise all payment runs processed within the business ensuring funds are available

  • Ensure that all bank transactions are properly accounted for in oracle liaising with customers and colleagues as necessary to provide supporting documentation and action

  • Provide clients with a monthly bank reconciliation highlighting all client issues and discussing with them to ensure a suitable outcome is obtained to clear the items

  • Responsible for own daily KPI's to ensure delivery of all processes are to deadline, highlighting risks where necessary

Essential skills

  • PC Skills (Excel)

Desirable skills

  • AAT would be advantageous and/or knowledge of double entry bookkeeping

  • Suitable experience in an office environment

  • Experience using Oracle
