Working days: Monday – Friday

 

Working hours per day: 7.5 (1 day per week will be 11am – 7pm)

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Waiting List Office for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join the team providing administrative support to the Team Leader and leave cover & administrative support for the Band 3 Team members.

 

Duties of the post holder will include supporting the team in the management of elective waiting lists, having daily contact with patients via telephone, liaising with other departments and external agencies and supporting the waiting list officers and team leaders to ensure performance standards are met. The post holder will be required to work flexibly as the need arises. You will possess excellent communication and organisational skills and have the ability to work well in a team and adapt to change as required. Patient confidentiality and excellent customer care skills are essential. A high level of computer skills are essential and you will be required to work on the Microsoft program Excel daily.

 

Previous experience of working in a hospital environment & knowledge of the patient information systems Lorenzo & ORMIS would be an advantage, although training will be given. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty on the edge of the Lake District National Park and the North Yorkshire Moors and is a great location for anyone keen on outdoor pursuits.

Anyone newly appointed to the trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period (this includes bank staff). This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment.
