''A great place to be cared for; a great place to work''

Do you want to work for an organisation who has just received an overall rating of GOOD from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) with a rating of OUTSTANDING in care?

The Bay Health & Care Partners (BH&CP) Careers & Engagement team is responsible for designing and delivering recruitment and engagement projects across South Cumbria and North Lancashire. We work in partnership with healthcare professionals, young people, education providers and a range of other organisations, in order to:

• Deliver a programme of engagement activity to showcase careers and opportunities across the healthcare system.

• Support and organise events and projects to inspire our local communities to consider careers in health.

• Inspire future generations and dispel myths about the NHS.

• Remove barriers and create opportunities for those who otherwise might have been prevented access.

• Share knowledge and good practice with other Careers & Engagement teams across the North West.

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to support the busy team as a full-time, permanent Project Facilitator. The Project Facilitator will provide comprehensive project support to the BH&CP Careers & Engagement team. You will need to be flexible and innovative in your approach with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. Experience of public speaking is essential, and you should have good facilitation and/or training skills. You should be able to multi-task and handle a number of projects/tasks simultaneously in order to meet deadlines. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team.

This role requires a confident and approachable person, who is able to communicate tactfully and effectively with staff, members of the public and young people. You should feel passionate about making a difference and supporting our local communities. The role of Project Facilitator will also include responsibility for the production of communications, resources and reports. You should have good IT skills, initiative, creativity, and a keen eye for detail.

You will be based mostly in Lancaster, but the role will require some travelling across the Morecambe Bay area in order to attend meetings and events.

Please be aware interviews for this post will be held on Friday 7th December 2018.

Anyone newly appointed to the trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period (this includes bank staff). This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment.
