HR ADVISOR Horsforth £23,500 - £24,000 An excellent opportunity has arisen within a leading client to support the HR Manager within the business. You will assist the HR Manager with the consistent delivery of people policies and procedures. Client Details My client is a leading Global client, they carry a strong brand and a high level of customer focus. Whilst delivery of internal KPIs is a critical part of their success, their people and service make the brand. Description As HR Advisor you will be responsible for supporting colleague engagement, retention, absence, inductions, training, recruitment and succession planning as part of your daily duties. You will support the HR Manager with all site HR functions and will sometimes need be on your own on site in her absence. A strong strategic mind and knowledge of best business practices. In terms of experience we are looking for someone with a generalist background but an interest in recruitment. The role will be a generalist advisor role with exposure to recruitment and providing general HR advice to the business, but with a high emphasis on recruitment, so they need to have a background in recruitment and ideally be interested in developing that further as they will be driving the recruitment strategy forward with the HR Manager. It is an exciting opportunity as the business looks to continue the improvement of recruitment methods, identifying creative and unique ways to attract candidates, supporting end to end recruitment - onboarding - development - exit processes, looking at ways to improve retention and reduce attrition. There will also be involvement with the development and improvement of the volume recruitment in the operational areas; how to attract and retain people. Recruitment will probably be at least 80% of the role so you must have an interest in it, but you will also be expected to support the wider team with general HR issues too. It's a fantastic opportunity which for the right person and will provide great reward and satisfaction. Ensure all HR policies and procedures are up to date and align with current legislation. A confident Excel user is needed as you willprovide KPI analysis for Operations Managers. Support departmental managers with HR related advice and provide suitable guidance, training and support where relevant. Arrange and undertake all exit interviews and utilise all information provided to develop metrics to inform and instruct change. Review sickness records, analyse trends and patterns and consider any action that may be needed. Support all members of the HR team to ensure the smooth running of the HR Function. Recruitment & training. Excellent generalist knowledge of HR and business strategy. Experienced with the whole recruitment cycle. At least 2 years’ experience in a HR Advisor position. Confident and clear communicator. Great organisational skills. Ideally you will be CIPD qualified, but this is not essential to apply. The role is full time Monday-Friday The company offers a competitive salary, £23,500 - £24,000 an excellent benefits package, a modern, fast-paced environment and a challenging, free parking on site, rewarding role where no two days will be the same.
