My client are an industry leading manufacturing and distribution company based in state of the art offices in Trafford Park. They are looking for a Graduate Account Executive to join their European Sales and Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemistry, Marketing or business but this is not essential.

Their new Account Executive will receive an industry leading basic salary, quarterly profit share, a competitive pension scheme and 24 days holiday raising to 29 with service and bank holidays. My client also offers cycle to work, childcare vouchers and Occupational Health Services.

As an Account Executive you are expected support the Sales and Marketing team in meeting customers' needs and delivering a fantastic experience. You will also support the Regional Managers and Account Managers on achieving departmental objectives.

Duties include:

• Customer Account Management responsibility for designated customers.

• Setting and achieving objectives and sales targets through internal sales efforts in line with the Company Business Plan.

• Making a positive contribution to the generation and maintenance of sales strategies and objectives for designated countries and customers in line with the Business Plan.

• Establishing and maintaining a sales forecast for designated customers in line with the Business Plan.

• Provide internal sales support to Regional Managers for designated customers.

• Maintenance of accurate Sales Forecasts.

• Handling customer enquiries and quotations.

• Management and preparation of Company responses to tenders issued by customers in designated territories.

• Management of customer supply agreements and contracts and reporting customer feedback.

• Ensuring new customers are set up and maintained on the customer database with all required information being recorded correctly.

• Support Accounts with credit control duties when requested.

• Developing and implementing Company brand strategy and creating new sales and marketing materials.

• Maintain and improve the standard of all written and electronic information, presentations, and other general sales and marketing materials made available to customers.

• Ensure that customer standards and requirements are clearly understood and being met and that the Company standards for Customer Relationship Management and Customer Service are maintained in all dealings with customers.

• Work with Customer Service to resolve customer queries and keep them informed of key customer issues.
