Our Client is a Worldwide partner to the Automotive industry, working with a number of clients within this industry.

Overview:
To manage the assigned Retailers within a pre-determined territory by gaining and maintaining Retailer support of the manufacturers warranty programme and delivering warranty products and system training to relevant Retailer staff. Maintain and develop business relationships with Retailer personnel at all levels with their businesses.

Location
Ideally based within the M62 Corridor or the Scottish border, the territory covered will be from Manchester / Stafford upwards and including the whole of Scotland.

Hours
35 hours per week. Due to the nature of this position, hours may vary in line with business needs and it is expected that regular nights spent away from home will be required.

Responsibilities:
• Visit all assigned Retailers and Authorised Repairers on a pre-defined schedule to meet pre-defined warranty registrations targets
• Deliver product knowledge to relevant staff to include benefits of the product that will assist Retailer staff in their customer interactions
• Deliver warranty system training to relevant Retailer staff to ensure they are conversant with how to apply warranties, process claims and access invoice and statement information
• Analyse sales reports to assess Retailer support of the warranty scheme
• Arrange appointments with Retailers to discuss warranty support, agree warranty sales action plans and subsequently follow up on agreed actions
• To assist Retailers and Authorised Repairers in the creation and implementation of robust procedures to ensure accurate and efficient programme management.
• Support the company in providing excellence in all aspect of service delivery to the Client
• Ensure that all appointments are carried out in a professional manner with formal agendas supplied to the Retailer in advance of the meeting and formal follow-up actions communicated back to the Retailer following the appointment
• Complete and submit monthly reports to detail visits conducted, activities carried out and actions agree with the Retailer
• Analyse warranty claim data to asses Retailer claim activity – trends, comparisons against regional and national performance etc.
• Deliver constructive claim reviews with Retailers so they are able to understand the relationship between the warranties they register and the subsequent claims made and be able to provide constructive feedback and ideas if appropriate to address any areas of concern
• Attend relevant company and manufacturer meetings if required and ensure that any information required is available for discussion.
• Regularly discuss individual Retailer performance with the appropriate Warranty Scheme Area Managers, offering advice, assistance and practical help whenever required.
• Liaise with internal personnel and other parties as necessary in order to resolve problems promptly
• Carry out any additional duties as requested by the Account Manager or the Client as may be requested from time to time.

Qualifications:
Ideally from a Motor sales/warranty background with a customer centric focus, the successful candidate must possess the following:

Essential skills, Attributes & Experience
• Good standard of general education (GCSE / A ‘Level or equivalent)
• Strong background in sales, coaching and negotiation within the automotive industry
• Working remotely / field based
• Ability to work to set KPIs and success in achieving pre-determined sales targets within tight timeframes
• IT literate & experienced within Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook )
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate confidently/diplomatically at all organisational levels and with clients
• Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills at all levels
• Willing to undertake driving over long distances and nights away from home to meet business needs

Desirable Skills & Attributes
• F&I / warranty retail experience
• Evidence of developing/business growth
