Administrative Assistant, HMS

Salary Band 3 (Points 5/6) Term Time salary based upon 18 hours per week of £7,855 on a term time only contract plus 5 additional days.

Hours of work to be discussed at interview but we anticipate the successful candidate would work 18 hours over 3 or 4 days, Monday to Friday based at Hexham Middle School


We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised administrator(s) who wish to work within a fast-paced environment.  This role involves the provision of a comprehensive general administration service to the school including typing, word processing, handling specific school based record systems and databases, organising academic events in the school calendar and dealing sensitively with students, parents and staff in a very busy office environment. 


This role can be combined with the Finance Assistant vacancy as a full-time position, or applied for on an individual basis, but please specify which position(s) you are applying for on your application form.  The ideal candidate will be confident, well organised and efficient with excellent communication skills. For both positions, the support for the senior members of staff is an integral part of this role and the ability to work quickly and accurately to tight deadlines and deal with conflicting demands is essential.
