Salary: £17,226 - £18,009 (depending on experience). Permanent, part time (22 hours) with opportunity for additional casual hours (up to 37 hours per week)

This role is a fantastic opportunity for an early career candidate with strong organisation, administration and time management skills. You will be working as part of a dynamic and very busy team engaging with over 30,000 children, families, young people and vulnerable adults every year.

The post would be responsible for taking school and community group bookings, processing invoices, setting up learning spaces as well as supporting the delivery of our school and family programme.

Although the administrative part of the role is part time, there will be the opportunity for the right candidate to work additional hours in the delivery of our programme, up to 37 hours per week.

Purpose of the Role

* To support the work of the Learning Team with a range of administrative duties including: school workshop bookings, learning events and room bookings, setting up workshops, taking minutes, answering email and telephone enquiries and basic financial administration (e.g. processing invoices).

* To work closely with colleagues to provide educational support across the learning team including: delivery of family events and school sessions.

* Responsible for booking and recording educational visits and outreach on behalf of the Learning Team, ensuring accurate booking information is provided and assisting with the production of high-quality promotional material, including printed and electronic newsletters

* Undertake general administrative tasks including writing letters and emails, telephone answering, photocopying, maintaining records, scanning, and taking minutes for team members.

* Assist budget holders with monitoring, in particular: writing purchase orders, raising invoices and processing and placing order

* Work in conjunction with colleagues to ensure that learning sections of the website are maintained and kept up-to-date.

* To assist with delivery of family learning and schools workshops.
