Choices is an exciting new employment programme in Allerdale & Copeland funded by The Big Lottery Fund and European Social Fund. Working in partnership with 11 voluntary and community sector delivery partners who are specialists in employment, financial and digital inclusion and volunteering, Choices will support 450 long term unemployed people into or towards employment.

 

Administrator

Salary: Circa £16,000 pro rata

Hours: 20-24 hours (until September 2019)

Location: Allerdale & Copeland

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic administrator to join our Choices team to provide admininistration and customer service support.  The post holder will be integral to maintaining systems for the programme and to ensure data is accurate and evidence is compliant. The post holder will engage with participants and employers face-to-face, via telephone, and in writing, supporting the wider team achieve its objectives.

 

Essential Skills:

  • Good standards in English and Mathematics (Grade C or above, NVQ Level II)
  • Experience in an Administrative function with strong attention to detail ensuring a high level of accuracy, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Proven experience of using a wide range of IT including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet/email, database or MI systems including use of complex data sources.
  • Experience of producing accurate correspondents, information and electronic communications.
  • Use of a variety of general office equipment, e.g. Telephones, Printers, Scanners, Photocopier etc.
