Conveyancing Assistant

Do you have background knowledge of the residential conveyancing market and strong communication and interpersonal skills? A well-known legal organisation in Huddersfield are looking for a full-time Conveyancing Assistant to start immediately.

Paying a competitive salary dependant on experience.

Supporting the conveyancing process at all stages, you will need a minimum of two years experience of the end to end conveyancing process, the ability to build strong working relationships and be comfortable under pressure.

Responsibilities include:
● Ensuring the timely transfer of monies between the buyer, seller and 3rd parties.
● Liaising with clients, 3rd party solicitors, banks and building societies, estate agents and
the land registry.
● Drafting contracts, transfers, bills and statements.
● Updating the fee earner throughout the process.
● Diary management for the fee earner and general admin including audio typing legal
correspondence.
