VOLUNTEER ROLE CALL QUALITY APPRAISER

Based at Police Headquarters, Penrith

We are looking for a group of volunteers to volunteer alongside officers and staff in the force control room to deliver the best service to the public. As a volunteer you will be responsible for reviewing and quality assuring contact with callers and act as a critical friend. Through your role you will provide transparency and accountability and increase the publics understanding, confidence and trust in how the Constabulary answers calls to the Command and Control Room.

You will bring an independent perspective on the calls the police deal with and your views will be valuable from the point of view of the customer and help improve the service the Constabulary gives to the public.

Our volunteers are paid mileage and a meal allowance where appropriate.
