Sales Executive

HB Clark & is a long established and growing, leading On-trade wholesaler operating out of 9 sites across the North of England. Part of the wider Kitwave Group we are looking to recruit a Sales Executive to join Cumbria team.

 

Supplying Bars, Pubs, Clubs, Restaurants and Night-time Events. We are a composite wholesaler and our offer includes Beers, Wines, & Spirits from all the major brewers and suppliers. Backed up with a full range of Crisps, Snacks, Soft drinks, ancillaries and our own manufactured post mix solution.

 

We have an established customer account base. The right creative person will add value in these accounts by nurturing and growing existing business as well as seeking out new opportunities within the area. The role is a face to face sales role supported by a Sales Manager, depot operations and a professional telesales department.

 

Cumbria depot is about to enter the next phase of development with a new distribution centre planned, allowing us to increase our footprint and increase sales further.

 

Main Duties:

 

  • Manage and grow sales in the existing customer base. Network and develop relationships.

  • Seek and secure new business opportunities either opening new accounts and or introducing new categories within existing accounts.

  • Managing a varied, challenging workload utilising the support of the sales manager and wider team.

  • Accurately interpret, understand and implement the sales related information provided.

  • Using market knowledge and insight, contribute to product placement and NPD.

  • The role will report direct to the Sales Manager.

     

    The ideal candidate:

     

  • Providing excellent customer service and support to ensure key targets are consistently met.

  • Through good communication with your customer base maintain accounts developing the best ways to retain and increase the potential within their accounts.

  • You will be tenacious and have a success focussed mind set and be hard-working.

  • You will have first class sales and communication skills, with the ability to communicate with people at all levels, essentially including decision makers.

  • You will be a team player as you will also work closely with the internal customer service and sales team.

  • You will have a full drivers licence and live within commuting distance of the depot in Maryport.

  • You will be open to learning about products and how best to sell them as well as happy to take direction.

  • You will take pride in your work and in yourself as you will be the face of our business.
