EVENTS SALES EXECUTIVE / ACCOUNT MANAGER
24 - 27K, OTE 32K PLUS BENEFITS

Our client is a Global Events company, this is a forward thinking and dynamic corporate Events business. Due to growth we are now looking for an individual ideally from the Events industry to join the team as the Events Sales Executive This role would suit an individual who has has a background in sales, account management or customer services, ideally within Events or similar . It’s a very soft sales, service focused role. This is an exciting opportunity with huge scope for the progression in the future.

Main Responsibilities:
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• To call primary airline targets to attend the event.
• To identify from the database a key target list of airline network planners
• Contact targets from leads generated to encourage registrations
• To identify Tour Operators and Online intermediaries to attend the event and contact as required
• Ensure that registrations are processed correctly when received and update the website
• To assist with the visa invitation letter procedure for some delegates where required
• To assist with the ‘Keep on Board’ process for the event ensuring regular contact is made with registered delegates
• To ensure all vital and relevant information is sent to registered delegates pre-event through email communication.
• To assist with the auditing of the airline database regularly.
• To reconcile and analyse Airlines delegate figures pre-event and distribute to the wider team on a weekly basis
• Post event analysis producing final delegate lists for each event.
• To assist with the delegate listings for the event Delegate Directories.
• To assist where required on training events
• Compile competition report and calendar for management
• Provide regular updates on the competition

Position Requirements:
• A professional, flexible, proactive and enthusiastic approach to work (some out of office hours working will be required; some travelling may also be required)
• Preferably from an Events background
• Industrious and resourceful with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines with a minimum amount of supervision.
• Accurate, numerate and articulate with excellent attention to detail.
• Be able to communicate at all levels and form professional relationships with internal and external contacts and customers.
• Professional telephone manner
