Job Title: Regional Account Manager

Based: In the Field

Reporting to: Regional Sales Manager

Summary of Role: Using a consultative sales process, development of new clients and advertising agency business as well as active servicing of on-going client development and advertising agency relationships. To utilise sales and presentation skills in meetings to sell the portfolio and convert leads into new business.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance Delivery:

* Contribute to the achievement of category revenue budgets across the portfolio.

* Maximising revenue streams through category development and in conjunction with the Regional and National Sales Manager. Development of the business and territory through strategic planning and implementation to set deadlines.

* Grow Key Account business in line with set revenue and new business targets.

* To make and attend the required number of weekly/monthly appointments. All appointments need to have a valid business reason.

* Setting and achieving individual KPI’s and goals within weekly & monthly 1:1 meeting with the Regional and National Sales Manager.

* Pro-actively source new business leads.

* Ensure all reports are completed in a professional manner (by the deadline set).

* Attend and participate in daily, weekly & monthly performance conversations with your category manager.

* Ensure all performance conversations are documented as appropriate.

* Adhere to our department standards at all times.

Customer Focus:

* Use the sales process to understand your customers business and needs in order to sell the best package to them.

* This includes:

o Preparing fully for sales calls both telephone and face to face.

o Being able to sell the benefits of our products and overcome objections in a positive manner

o Negotiating and Closing business

* Develop further and create new relationships both client and agency through agreed lists (agreed with National Sales Manager)

* To make and attend appointments. All appointments need to have a valid business reason.

* Attend relevant meetings and industry events when appropriate.

* Ensure all customer conversations are documented on the Salesforce CRM system using the best practice guidelines.

* Ensure all advertisement bookings and proposals are documented on the Salesforce CRM system using the best practice guidelines.

* To gain testimonials feedback from customers when appropriate.

People & Culture

* To take full responsibility for your on-going learning needs and development in partnership with the Development Team and National Sales Manager.

* To organise and manage monthly buddy meetings with relevant Account Executives.

* To liaise with Account Executives as and when appropriate. Ensure they are provided with relevant client information through Salesforce and verbal communication.
