As a bank worker you also have the flexibility to choose the hours that you want to work. There is no obligation to work on particular days and you only need to accept the shifts that you are able to work.

We work with people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health concerns, autism, and sensory disabilities.
Previous experience is essential. Hours vary.
Our ideal Support Worker will be:
* Self-motivated with energy and drive
* Reliable, friendly and caring to support the people we support to achieve their employment goals
* Able to support in a variety work settings
* Confident and inspire the person we support to achieve more
* Able to help manage some behaviours that may challenge the norm – we provide training and guidance to enable you to do this
* Comfortable using basic IT systems that are required within the role - training can be offered to support this area
* It is also important that you share our company values which are at the heart of everything we do and ensure that we deliver high quality, consistent care and support.
* Provide person centred support for the people we support
* Provide support in all daily living activities to suit the needs and wishes of the individual, keeping them healthy and safe
* Enable the people we support to reach their full potential whilst promoting independence and choice
* Provide flexible support for the supported individuals when they need it in line with their personalised support plans, ensuring that the people we support are involved to the maximum, promoting independence, choice, dignity and privacy.
* Provide support, including (but not limited to) help with personal care; budgeting ; shopping; cleaning; cooking; laundry; engaging with social activities; assisting the person to maintain relationships with family and friends; being active in their community and assistance with medication, employment or study.
* Understand and follow all Community Integrated Care’s standards, policies and procedures to keep the people we support healthy, safe and well.
* Keep all relevant records up to date and private as directed by the line manager.
* Provide opportunities for the people we support to maximise their potential by helping them to develop both new and existing skills and abilities.
* Provide opportunities for the people we support to develop and maintain relationships and access the community in line with their wishes.
* Participate in their own development by actively engaging with learning and development process and opportunities including mandatory and best practice training opportunities.
* Enhanced DBS (Valid 12 months)
* 2 Written References
* Administration of Medication Certificate
* Care Certificate
* MAPA - Managing Aggression and Potential Aggression Certificate
