Activities Coordinator

Reporting to: General Manager (initially)

Location: Armathwaite Hall Hotel & Spa

Overview

To work as part of the Sales team, consistently delivering Armathwaite Halls standards in the guest experience.

Main Responsibilities

1. Delivering the Hotels extensive activities program to guests in a professional and proficient manor, up selling where possible of further activity bookings.

2. Building a successful activities program and helping to develop further activities thus increasing revenue for the department and Hotel.

3. Ushering guests around the hotel facilities, estate grounds, local attractions as well as occasional room show ups in busy periods to assist porter team.

4. Maintain and repair, when required, any equipment to enable the safe, professional delivery of the activity in question.

5. Having local and hotel knowledge to engage with guests throughout their stay

6. Leading groups for onsite activities in accordance to SOP and Risk Assessments.

7. Creating an outstanding first impression by being the face of the hotel and giving great customer service

8. General day to day tasks within the hotel.

9. Drive company vehicles as and when necessary, i.e; tours and guest transport etc.

10. Engage and become proactive in personal development regarding courses and qualifications that will benefit both yourself and the hotel.

You must ensure that all Health & Safety regulations are adhered to at all times, this includes the fire procedures and COSHH regulations, all of which you will be made aware of. Please ensure that you report any faults or infringements of these procedures or act immediately where appropriate to correct them. You have a duty to carry out work so that you never put yourself or others at risk, creating a safer working environment for everyone
