HBN Restaurants Ltd are a franchise of McDonalds, established in 2001. We currently operate eleven restaurants throughout Cumbria and North Lancashire.

With over 1000 employees, and an ever-growing business, we are currently looking to recruit Assistant Managers across the region.

We offer a starting annual salary of £24,000, six weeks annual leave, and a yearly performance related pay review. Add to that a structured training plan, regular performance appraisals, private medical cover, service milestone awards, a meal allowance, and a discount scheme.

Position Description:

Successful applicants will embark on the Assistant Manager trainee programme which is the first step to managing one of our eleven restaurants. Last year we welcomed over six million guests, and each site employs a team of 50-140 people. From day one, youll be based on the shop floor learning how each area of the business works. One minute youll be serving customers, the next youll be learning about stock control. Youll work alongside our Crew, Crew Trainers, Customer Care teams, Shift Leaders and Assistant Managers, as well as the Restaurant Business Manager whilst you complete an intensive initial training period. It takes up to six months to complete the initial stages of the trainee programme, and after successfully completing the training period and relevant courses, youll be promoted to a fully qualified Assistant Manager and become part of the core restaurant management team. The next steps could involve promotion to Senior Assistant Manager, Business Manager and beyond.

Position Requirements:

We are looking to attract those with experience of working in a hospitality or retail environment youll wantto provide a great experience for each of our customers and be passionate about training and developing yourteams. Youll need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting involved with each area of therestaurant and be a really quick learner, as theres a lot to pick up in a short space of time. A logical mind andgreat people skills are really important too.
