My client is part of the BESA (Building Engineering Services Association) group of companies.

Their scheme is the industry recognised card issuing and personnel registration schemes for people working in the mechanical sector of the building engineering services industry throughout the UK. Membership of the scheme is confirmed through the issue of an Engineering Services card. Their scheme is affiliated to the pan-industry Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS).

The client is UKAS accredited and is the independent certification body for the BESA offering certification services to assess, certify and register the competence of contractors and individuals.

The client facilitates CAS (Competence Assessment Scheme) for the evaluation of BESA members. This promotes to the industry supply chain that BESA members are deemed competent in both their management systems and technical ability to design, install, service and maintain plant and equipment in all its core disciplines and work-types. In addition, the client also operates a number of specialist schemes.
