CMC Senior Operator to monitor and control our wind parks

Do you want to be part of the set up and ongoing development of a centralised Control and Monitoring Centre (CMC) at the heart of Ø
rsteds operating portfolio?

Join us and become a CMC Senior Operator in the CMC team where you'll be responsible for the day-to- day operation and control of the wind parks ensuring regulatory compliance and prompt resolution to events.

The CMC is a 24/7/365 operation and as such you'll work on a 12-hour shift pattern of days and nights.
However, during the start-up phase you'll be working during regular office hours with some additional travel.

Your key tasks will be to
- be the focal point of the shift team, providing advice both to the other operators and the wind parks
- implement and develop the processes for managing and resolving alarms/events to minimise potential
- monitor, operate and control the wind parks
- look for opportunities to improve processes and drive improvement initiatives, e.g. identifying and finding a solution for common/re-occurring faults, and following up on the solution,
- ensure that ways of working and lessons learnt through operational experience are recorded and routinely updated.

Your competences include that you
- have WTG and BoP domain knowledge backed by an accredited training programme on WTG
- have extensive experience in the wind industry, ideally, working with different technologies,
- are familiar with trouble shooting of WTG faults and can make rational decisions based on facts and
proven experience within a dynamic environment
- speak and write English fluently
- thrive in an international environment and can create good relationships with your stakeholders.

Additionally, it's important that you're proactive in maintaining the required competencies for the role, are self-
motivated and can work without direct supervision.

Youll be based in Barrow-in- Furness.
