Compliance Officer - Manchester

We are currently recruiting for a unique and exciting vacancy for a Compliance Officer, based in our Manchester office you will be required to work out of our Leeds branch one day a week, and our Sheffield branch when required, all expenses paid.

We pride ourselves in being experts in our field, which is why we dedicate resources to ensure that all aspects of the recruitment process function to the utmost quality. As a compliance officer you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of service to our consultants and managers.

Compliance is paramount within our industry and there are many aspects to ensuring that the candidates who work for us have met the criteria of both our clients and regulatory bodies. The role will involve working closely with your internal colleagues, your manager and our candidates, but also with external training providers, nominated referees, bodies such as the UK border agency, the disclosure and barring service and the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), and external audit representatives from our wide portfolio of clients.

This will involve checking and signing off new candidates and using a variety of software packages. You will responsible for the upkeep of existing workers and you will need to be highly organised. A professional communicator, you will be instrumental in building both candidate and client relationships while displaying commercial awareness and maintaining a positive and fun approach to your work. You will be able to work well under pressure, with excellent administration and customer care skills you will have a high attention to detail, be results orientated and be motivated by the associated financial rewards.

Ideally you will have previous experience working in a similar role within a recruitment agency however, those displaying the ambition and core skills required will receive first class training to have a successful and rewarding career. It is essential that the successful applicant has a close eye for detail, the ability to understand complicated legal requirements, a strict approach to achieving quality and standards, and a drive to nurture relationships.
