Carlisle College is a vibrant Further Education College in the heart of Carlisle. The College offers an extensive range of further and higher education, professional qualifications and community programmes, from entry level to Foundation Degrees.
 
Carlisle College is the lead accountable body for the Employees Support in Skills project in Cumbria, funded by the European Social Fund and match funded by the Skills Funding Agency. Commissioned by Cumbria LEP, the project will support the LEPs vision to have one of the fastest growing economies in the UK by raising skills levels and reducing skills gaps.
 
Cumbria LEP Sector Skills Manager X 2
Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 Per annum
 
The staff will be deployed from Carlisle College to Cumbria LEP to work under the direction of the LEP Head of Employment Skills. Whilst reporting directly to Cumbria LEP, successful applicants will work closely with Carlisle College as the accountable body and their delivery network.
 
The posts are fixed term until 31st March 2018 and are full time (37 hours per week).
