HR Advisor

Temporary - up to 12 months
35 hours

The Society is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated HR Advisor to join our small HR team based at our Head Office, Barrow-in-Furness for a period of up to 12 months to cover maternity leave.

The role will focus and provide support in the area of culture change, reward and recognition, and will have a particular focus on transactional issues, and recruitment and retention. In addition, the individual will be expected to provide generalist HR support and advice, and will work on projects across the key areas of organisational development and employee engagement.

A solid experience in a generalist HR advisory role is essential and you will have up to date knowledge of employer legislation. A CIPD qualification, or equivalent, is required, and any experience in assisting on change projects would be beneficial. You will be a well organised individual who works well under pressure. You will also have excellent communication skills and be IT literate in the use of HR databases, Excel and Word.
