The Role:

Our client is looking for an experienced Management Accountant to work within their finance function and be an integral part of their established team.

As a Management Accountant, you will be required to work collaboratively with the Finance Director, assisting with all finance and operational functions. Duties are to include:

" Preparation of accurate financial information, quarterly accounts, and reports.
" Reconciliations of costing and monitoring spend against budget and have the ability to provide comparative analysis.
" Corporate tax returns including VAT & corporate tax
" Creditor payments, BACs transfers
" Management, control & reconciling balance sheet accounts, including inter-department and company charges / VAT
" Producing account reports, detailing for Board and Corporate meetings
" Supervision of accounts assistant.

Requirements

The ideal Management Accountant will have experience within all aspects of an accounting function and ideally be qualified to AAT Level 3. You will be adept to working in Excel and have a high ability to understand and analyse financial information in order make sound recommendations in line with company strategy. If you have previously worked within the construction, housebuilding or residential sector this will be an advantage. However, training will be given on construction related costing packages such as COINS and TAS.
