35 hours per week

Salary: £21,000 per annum

About the role

 

This is an exciting opportunity to be a key part of this new project which will operate across Carlisle and Eden from July 2017 to March 2019. The project, funded by Big Lottery and ESF, is looking to develop a fresh approach to support people facing multiple and complex barriers to employment and who are furthest removed from the labour market.

 

TCV is working with project leaders WEA and a range of partners to deliver this change. We are looking to recruit 2 Senior Project Officers who will be part of a core team who will provide the driving force behind the project.

 

We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic individuals to deliver environment based projects across Carlisle and Eden that will work with and support individuals to move closer to employment.

 

We are looking for candidates who can combine 1 of the following; horticulture, conservation or landscaping skills, with experience of working with individuals with barriers to employment. You will need to have a strong grasp of the barriers faced by people in the employment market and a desire to try something new.
