HBN Restaurants Ltd are a franchise of McDonalds, established in 2001.
We currently operate eleven restaurants throughout Cumbria and North Lancashire.

With over 1000 employees, and an ever-growing business, we are currently looking to recruit Trainee Business Leaders across the region.
We offer a starting annual salary of £24,000, six weeks annual leave, and a yearly performance related pay review. Add to that a structured training plan, regular performance appraisals, private medical cover, service milestone awards, a meal allowance, and a discount scheme.

Position Description:
The Trainee Business Leader programme is the first step to managing one of our eleven restaurants. Last year we welcomed over six million guests, and each site employs a team of 50-140 people.
From day one, youll be based on the shop floor learning how each area of the business works.
One minute you'll be serving customers, the next you'll be learning about stock control.
You'll work alongside our Crew, Crew Trainers, Customer Care teams, Shift Leaders and Assistant Business Leaders, as well as the Restaurant Business Leader whilst you complete an intensive initial training period.
It takes up to six months to complete the initial stages of the trainee programme, and after successfully completing the training period and relevant courses, you'll be promoted to a fully qualified Junior Business Leader and become part of the core restaurant management team.
The next steps could involve promotion to Assistant Business Leader, Business Leader and beyond.

Position Requirements:
Open to Graduates and those with experience of working in a customer facing environment or managing teams you'll want to provide a great experience for each of our customers and be passionate about training and developing your teams.
You'll need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting involved with each area of the restaurant and be a really quick learner, as there's a lot to learn up in a short space of time.
A logical mind and great people skills are really important too.

We'll give you the training, knowledge, skills and confidence. Apply determination, hard work and ambition, and you'll complete the training period and be ready for promotion to Junior Business Leader. You'll be required to learn a lot and apply what you have learnt, and to always lead by example.
